Game is played with mouse.
In Getting Over It, you control this guy Diogenes who's stuck in a cauldron for some reason. All you get is a hammer, and you gotta climb all these annoying obstacles by swinging it. Move your mouse or use a controller—if you can handle the frustration.
Bennett Foddy, the game's creator, talks to you while you play. His words might seem deep or just make you rage even more. It doesn't help when you mess up and fall all the way down because, yeah, there's no checkpoints or anything like that. Every little move can send you back, and it hurts. A lot.
The obstacles just keep getting worse. It’s like the game wants to see how much patience you have before you lose it. But every time you fail, you learn, kind of, and maybe get a little further next time. Or not.
If you somehow manage to make it to the top, you’ll shoot into space. Then, you can record it to show off, or jump into the chat room and brag about surviving this torture to other players.
This game is pretty much a test of skill, patience, and how much you can handle before giving up.
